How To Take Care Of Your Remy Human Hair Wig

Most women love wigs, because wig is a great way to achieve a new hairstyle. But please not it different from natural hair. It is important to take good care of the wig to extend its lifespan and maintain an attractive appearance. Then how to take care of your wig? Here are 5 tips that may be helpful to wig wearers.

1.Washing: When wash, make sure the water flow in the same direction during washing and avoid rubbing the wig heavily.

Notice never put the conditioner in the root of the hair since it will damage the knots of the wigs.

2.Do not soak the hand-tied human hair wigs for a long time as this can lead to tangling. When you wash the wig, please treat it very carefully just like your own hair.

3.Drying: Gently pat and press the hair with a soft towel to remove excess water after removing the shampoo.Avoid wringing or twisting;shake vigorously and hang upside down to air dry(usually overnight). Do not blow dry the wig. Do not brush wig when wet. Do not wear wig with wet cap or dry wig on head or Styrofoam, as this will stretch the cap.

4.Please store your wig on a wig stand or mannequin head in a cool, dry location avoiding extreme temperatures, mold and dust, which will help maintain the shape, cleanliness and style of your wig.

5.Dying: You can dye your wig in the local salon. Please don’t coloring human hair wig by yourselves. It is a very risky experiment and might turn into a bad result. However, if you still prefer to dye your own wigs, please keep in mind that never dye a darker color wig into a lighter color.

Trimming: Strongly recommend to ask the professional hairdresser to trim, shape or thin out the wig.

How To Dye Synthetic Hair To Ombre Color

First, you need to prepare the ink with water, alcohol ink, synthetic hair wefts or wigs, and don’t forget gloves.

Make the dye in bag not too watery. And the more ink darker color, less ink will give a pastel on blonde.

Put whole piece in a zipper bag.

Lots of shaking & moving hair.

Squish & Squish. Make sure color is all over squish squish.

Take it out of the bag carefully.

Squish out dye from top to bottom.

Make more pink ink. Watermelon pink squeeze in 1/2 teaspoon.

Plum ink just a little. Add 2 colors for pink you want.

Put both inks in bag now add a little water.

Weft & twist to dip for ombre look.

Put in the twisted bottom & squishy time.

Check to see if the color is what you want.

Take it out slowly squish top to bottom.

Going to redip top in purple to make it darker. It will fade to a light purple middle to a dark pink bottom.

When you did this you can set the ink with the hair dryer heat, not too hot though. Depending on the wig some have a chemical layer on them that makes the ink not take well. You should also rinse the pieces to get out left over ink so it doesn’t get on your body etc. You may have to do a double dye job to get a dark color set.

How to Make A Wig With Hair Wefts & Lace Closures

Most people like wigs, not just for covering up flaws, but most for fashion and beauty. And some people especially love to DIY their own wigs with lace closures and hair wefts. It is much cheaper than a human hair wig and also gives people more sense of achievement. For the full head hand made wig, need 3 hair wefts and 1 piece of lace closure. Now I’ll show you how to make the wigs by yourselves.

First you’ll need a foamed plastics model head. Put the cap on the head. Make the lace closure fixed to the cap.

Now, started by sewing the closure down to the cap.

Sew the weft under the edge of the cap so it can be worn in a high ponytail.

Sew using the loop & pull method for secure wefts. Never sew threw wefts!

Secure your wefts before flipping.

Apply tracks in a upside down U shape, it creates smoothness.

Make tight neat loop & pull stiches

Your tracks should be in the upside down U shape not straight across

Sew the last track all the way around & attach it to the closure.

Be sure to make stitches tight and small

Cut the U shape piece of cap from under the closure.

Ending results! You can add some large curls or cut some layers.

1 Clean the oil of eyelash stylist’s hand;

2 Clean makeup and oil of client’s eyes. Especially the natural lash and eyelid. Then the primer will be useful for cleanliness;

3 Protect the lower eyelashes with the eye pads, or coving the lower lash with the eye tape.

4 Stick glue in the 1/3 of the eyelash extension. Avoid forming the glue dew.

5 Stick eyelash extension 1mm away from the eyelash root.

6 Drying with the air blow after applying several eyelash extensions.

The following are some tips about the eyelash extension application that I’d like to share with you:

1.Left hand divides the lash one by one. Right hand is responsible for sticking the eyelash extensions. Little finger is the support of your hand to make you hand safely and securely without shaking.

2.Choose the short lash, too long lash is irregular and easy to fall down.

3.Less adhensive is easy to dry fast, righting the lash to make them not easy to fall.

4.The length of glue area on one lash is better not less than 2mm. Big adhensive area will make your eyelash extension stick strong and not easy to fall.

5.1 mm from your eyelash root is the best distance that the eyelash extension should stick to. Too long or too messy make your eyelash shapeless. Too short will hurt your eyes.

6.No falling after swing the eyelash extension, no fork between your own lash and eyelash extensions. Then the application of eyelash extension is finished successfully.

How to Apply Strip Eyelash

Have you ever spent hours in front of the mirror trying to apply false eyelashes, only to end up with them sticking out at strange angles, or—worse—fall off completely after a few hours? Because false eyelashes are tricky to master, we tapped Los Angeles–based makeup artist Gia Brescia to show us her tried-and-true application (and removal) tips.

  1. Size the lashes. Before gluing the lashes on, you will need to make sure they are not too wide for your eye. Hold the lash strips up against your eyelid, and trim them down on the sides if necessary. If the lashes are too long for your personal taste, consider trimming the individual lashes down to achieve a more natural look. Lashes should be longer toward the outer corner of the eye.

  1. Apply high-quality glue for lasting results (Brescia suggests avoiding the glue that comes with your lashes). If you have a steady hand, you can squeeze straight from the tube onto the strip. Tend to get shaky? An easy trick: put glue on the reverse (handle) end of a tweezers and glide it across the strip, as pictured. Be generous at both the inner and outer corners so the glue won’t unstick when you blink.

  1. Place the strip on your eyelid, positioning it as close as possible to your natural lashes. Bring the strip down from above, not from the front. This is to ensure that you get as close as possible to your lashline

  1. Apply mascara to your lashes. This will help blend your natural lashes with the false ones, achieving a more natural look. You can use black, brown, or dark gray mascara.
  1. If you see a gap showing on the eyelid between your real lashes and false eyelash, don’t worry! You don’t have to pull it off and start again, says Brascia. Just fill in the gap, using a matte black eye shadow as a liner to hide it (we used Inglot Cosmetics Freedom System Eyeshadow in 391). This step will also help the glue dry more quickly.

How To DIY Individual Lashes By Yourselves

How to choose the lash glue?

We’ll be using individual flare lashes with strip lash glue instead of the traditional semi- permanent individual eyelash glue used to apply eyelash extensions. This method is widely used by makeup artists for brides and “natural look” photo shoots. Better yet, there is absolutely no commitment required – you can remove the extensions easily along with the rest of your makeup at the end of the day without worrying about maintenance and costly touch-ups.

After choose the right glue,the next step is how to afford them?

1.Choose individual lashes of varying lengths,and squeeze a bit of your strip lash adhesive where you can quickly and easily dip the knotted ends of your individual lashes.

2.Gently pick up one knot with your tweezers and dip it into the adhesive. Too much adhesive on the knots will make your eyelashes look messy, even with clear tone glue, so try to use only as much as you need.

3.Looking down into a mirror, place the first knot on the outermost corner of your eye, making sure the knot is flush with your skin and not just clinging to your lash follicle.

4.Select the next shortest length and dip it into the adhesive. Use this length to fill in any blank spaces in the outer third of your eye.

5.Continue to apply the lashes along the rest of your eye, using the middle length for the middle third of your eye and the shortest length for the inner third of your eye. Fill in empty spaces as you need using either a shorter length or the same length.
