Here is our suggestion to remove your eyelash extensions: Preparation is key, as it is with all eyelash treatments. Make sure that you de-tack your micropore tape before placement on top of the bottom natural lashes. Use gel pads over the top of the tape, for even more support and protection. Use one dry microbrush underneath the extensions, whilst you use another microbrush over the top of the extensions, with a small amount of the remover on it.

Do not saturate the microbrush, if you need more, then use tiny amounts every so often, rather than risk having too much product around the eye area. Run the product in an upwards motion along the eyelash extensions, until they gently lift off. Never run the brushes from tip to root, always root to tip, to keep the product away from the eye.

Have some couch roll handy next to you so that you can pop the extensions on there once they have come off, you don’t want any lose lashes around the eye area.

Once you have successfully removed all of the extensions, thoroughly cleanse around the eye area with some damp, clean sponges or cotton pads. After eyelash extension removal, you will see your real eyelashes.

J Curl

B Curl

C Curl

D Curl

These are super curly and you should be careful to only use on clients whose natural lashes are already curly.

Be realistic and remember to match the right lash to the right client. Never ask your client to choose her extensions; it’s simply not fair to let her choose when she doesn’t have the experience and information you have.

Now to thicknesses…

0.05, 0.07 and 0.10 are mostly used for the Volume technique lashes.

0.07 are perfect for Express lashes; they allow you to layer them on and give a gorgeous, light and feathery look.

0.15 are also very popular these days for the America market .

0.20 are perfect for a standard lash extension for those clients who want a dramatic look. The client’s natural lashes will need to be reasonably strong to hold these so again – check the client’s lashes in their consultation before layering on something that won’t stay.

0.25 are for those who really want to be noticed. Thick, dramatic and rather gorgeous – but mostly obviously fake. The golden rule, as with 0.20s, is to make sure your client’s lashes are strong enough – otherwise her lashes will start to break off, and the lady who came in looking for big, thick lashes will soon be knocking your door, asking why she has no lashes at all!
