How to choose the lash glue?

We’ll be using individual flare lashes with strip lash glue instead of the traditional semi- permanent individual eyelash glue used to apply eyelash extensions. This method is widely used by makeup artists for brides and “natural look” photo shoots. Better yet, there is absolutely no commitment required – you can remove the extensions easily along with the rest of your makeup at the end of the day without worrying about maintenance and costly touch-ups.

After choose the right glue,the next step is how to afford them?

1.Choose individual lashes of varying lengths,and squeeze a bit of your strip lash adhesive where you can quickly and easily dip the knotted ends of your individual lashes.

2.Gently pick up one knot with your tweezers and dip it into the adhesive. Too much adhesive on the knots will make your eyelashes look messy, even with clear tone glue, so try to use only as much as you need.

3.Looking down into a mirror, place the first knot on the outermost corner of your eye, making sure the knot is flush with your skin and not just clinging to your lash follicle.

4.Select the next shortest length and dip it into the adhesive. Use this length to fill in any blank spaces in the outer third of your eye.

5.Continue to apply the lashes along the rest of your eye, using the middle length for the middle third of your eye and the shortest length for the inner third of your eye. Fill in empty spaces as you need using either a shorter length or the same length.

How to Make The Pastel Hair

We love the pastel hair shade trend that keeps growing and growing. Whether this is a bold, all over look, or a dip dyed take on the Renbow Crazy Colour trend – we can’t get enough. In many tutorials, for this look, we see the pastel shade crazy colour being used…but we have a little trick that makes your dye go much further, gives the same pastel shade and adds that extra nourishment your hair needs after being bleached in preparation for its pastel hues and is perfect for dyeing your hair extensions! So, shall we get started…

What you will need:

Mixing Bowl

Dye Application Brush

Moisturising Conditioner (Needs to be white!)

Crazy Colour of your choice

90’s Blonde Hair Extensions

Step One

To start this technique you will first need to create your custom pastel dye colour! Into your mixing bowl add some of your conditioner, the amount will depend on how many wefts and how much of the weft you are dyeing. Now into this you need to add your Crazy Colour, if you are going for a candy pink you need to use the brightest pink shade. We used Pinkissimo crazy colour to make pastel pink, Hot Purple Crazy Colour to make lavender pastel, Orange Crazy Colour to make peachy pastel and Peacock Blue Crazy Colour to make the minty teal pastel blue colour.

Step Two

Add just one drop of your Crazy Colour first and mix this into the conditioner…the idea is to dilute the bright shade using the conditioner. Add your drops one at a time as you can always add another drop but you can’t take this out! Your aiming to create the pastel shade you want to dye your hair in the bowl. Once you have your shade you need to plaster the conditioning dye all over your hair or hair extensions…make sure the hair is fully saturated. As the shades are diluted you will need to leave conditioning dye on for a number of hours, even overnight if you can : ) Rinse the dye from your hair extensions the next morning…and TADA.. beautiful pastel hair colours.

The results are simply amazing…Gorgeously soft hair and the most amazing candy pastel shades we have seen! Just be sure to complete a strand test first to see if you like the effect.. this way you won’t need to commit to the new pastel shade and can make sure it’s right for you.

A lace wig or a lace front wig is a special type of hairpiece or wig designed with a sheer lace base. Lace front wigs are made with real human hair or synthetic hair is which tied by hand, to a sheer lace base. Lace front wigs have replaced the traditional beauty supply regular wigs. They look very natural & are designed from a special lace material that allows the wig to blend in with your skin when properly applied. The hair is hand tied to the lace material which makes the wig appear that it is growing from your scalp. The wig have the versatility to be worn in hairstyles including updo ponytails.Full lace wigs may have a base made entirely of lace while the more common tactic is a lace front wig which has the sheer lace only at the front where the hairline is visible. The remainder of the wig is made out of a less fragile material which is less susceptible to ripping or tearing than the lace. Full lace wigs can be pulled into a high ponytail and up-do’s, as opposed to lace front wigs. The lace is only in the front half of the wig, to allow the customer to part the hair any way he or she wants. If a lace front wig is pulled into a ponytail it will be obvious that it is a wig.

The lace wig is usually attached with the assistance of glues and tapes, which are applied to the front hairline area. Once the glue has dried, the front lace portion of the wig is affixed to the area where the glue has been applied on the hairline, creating a tight bond which keeps the lace wig in place on the head. But when choosing clip in hair extensions, you may meet some problems like the length, weight and so on. Now I will give you some tips on how to choose the best clip-in hair!

1.) You should know how many grams of one set. 

Hair is measured in grams, usually if customers have no special request, each clip-in set is about 100 grams. As we all know, each set may have 7 to 10 pieces, so if all length made into 100 grams, each piece may be light-weight and have little hair on them, which would lead to hair slip out very easily.

If you want to add length, 100 grams are not enough. How many grams you need depend on the length you want and how thick and long your own hair is.

Rule of thumb: The longer you want your hair to be…and the shorter and thicker your hair is…the more grams you will need.

2.) How many grams do I need for clip-in hair?

The weight of one set clip in hair depends on the length you want and your own hair. If your hair is only shoulder, then you need a lot more grams for a full hand. Goodyard Hair always recommend clients different grams with varying hair lengths. For example, for 20″ length you will only need about 150-180 grams and for 16″ long extensions you may need only 100-130 grams.

3.) What length of clip-in hair extensions should I choose?

The longer and fuller you want the hair to be, the heavier you will wear. If you just start out, you’d better not choose the longer one. Once you get used to them, then graduate to more length slowly.

4.) Which kind of clips are better used? 

There are two main kinds of clips: one is u-shaped tines and another is straight tines like a fork. Usually Goodyard would recommend customers to choose the u-shaped in with silicone lining one the cross-bar, which is durable and good for our own hair.
